Congost River Road

Distance: 70.00 km
Difficulty: Middle-low
Slope: 100m approx

La Garriga has two cycle paths and numerous paths to explore by bicycle.

The exit from Plaza del Silencio passes through the Paseo from where you can see summer heritage. Next, you advance through the Narcisa Freixas square until you reach Can Terreros where its archaeological remains are located. Continuing along the bridge of Bages Street and Ramon Ciurans Street. Finally, it connects with the river road in Llerona, Rosanes and La Almendra, in a 3km route. This route can be extended by 9km until you reach Besós beach with a gradient of just under 35 meters.

You descend comfortably parallel to the river, which is on the right and, on the left, you will see crop fields. As you go down, the landscape becomes more urban and industrial. The path has no discontinuity.

Between Montmeló and Mollet de Vallès the Congost joins the Mogent river that flows down from the east to form the Besós river. We will cross it to go to its left bank.

From this point you have to go down about 70 meters of altitude to the Besós Fluvial Park and Sant Adrià beach.

Itinerary | Centella Rock

Distance: 19.00 km
Duration: 1h 50mins
Difficulty: High
Slope: 761 m

If you want to enjoy unbeatable views of the Garriga and the entire Vallesan plain and, at the same time, do a good workout, you can do this mountain bike tour, which in less than 20 kilometers will take you to the top of Roca Centella , one of the highest mountains around La Garriga.

We will leave La Garriga towards Figaró until we reach almost the height of the C-17. At the roundabout we will look for the path that goes out to the right in the middle of the factories, towards the hermitage of San Cristóbal de Monteugues. Once we reach the hermitage we will take the path to the right passing through Can Valls to reach the large oak tree. We will follow the path and turn right at the next two intersections, where the path will become steep slopes until the last intersection, where we will go left.

The path will take us to a small square where on foot we can climb to the top of Roca Centella. To go down we will go towards the Prades house passing through the carp neck and very close to the Santa Margarita hill, always following the path to the right to unevent the height. We will enter La Garriga through the Can Poi area.
